NOVEMBER GARDENER
Our favorite tools and tips fo r everyone who loves to dig
Many landscape plants refuse to just
fade away, holding on to beautiful
stems and leaves that you can cut
for the keeping. Make a fall bouquet,
opposite,
or use them to accent
seasonal container plantings. Pretty
possibilities include,
from top,
arborvitae, allium seed heads, blue
spruce, and the fertile fronds of
ostrich fern. Spray seed heads and
evergreens generously with hair spray
to help them look perky for weeks.
